[Book Review] Noble Metals By L.A. Witt & Heritage Coffee Klondike Blend
I love L.A. Witt books and I love steampunk, so when I saw that L.A. Witt had written a steampunk book I just about squealed with joy (confession – there was actual squealing and maybe even a little chair dancing). A historical action/adventure romance set in an alternative history that combines steampunk with the Wild West/Gold Rush, Noble Metals is a tale of two men searching for precious noble metals (namely gold and platinum) and discovering an even greater treasure in the love they find within each other’s arms.

Secrets of Neverwood: Series Recap and Review
I really enjoyed this series. Each story is easily a standalone, but work brilliantly as a cohesive unit. That being said, it’s better to read them in order, as the overarching storyline does have chronological importance to it. Having a different author for each book in the series was really a stroke of genius as each author’s individual writing style really served to highlight to different personalities of the brothers. Each book feels fresh and original because of this, but with that comfortable, welcoming feeling of returning to an already known space and time. 5 star ratings all the way.

[Book Review] The Growing Season By Diana Copland & Paramount Coffee Love Grows: Toasted Maple Nut
Secrets of Neverwood is a three book trilogy with each book following one of three foster brothers: Calvin, Danny, and Devon. The brothers, who vaguely remember and feel no brotherly love towards each other, come back to their old home when their foster mother Audrey dies, leaving her run-down family home, once a grand Victorian estate, to the three. The men run afoul of a deceptive developer who will do anything to get his hands on Neverwood and must learn to work together, trusting and opening up to each as brothers, to keep the house and carry on Audrey’s legacy of taking in gay or questioning youth who have nowhere…

[Book Review] Maybe This Time By A.M. Arthur & Open Eye Café Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Coffee
Maybe This Time was a quick read for me and I was surprised upon finishing it to realize it’s a full length novel and not a novella. I just devoured it in one sitting, stuck in the angst-ridden tension of Ezra’s and Donner’s unfolding relationship. To say Ezra and Donner have not had it easy in life is an understatement. Both men come from traumatizing backgrounds with horrible parents (to say the least). Both have loved and lost the person they thought was their forever (Ezra’s ex pretty much abandoned him after a move to a new city and Donner’s partner of six years was killed in a senseless act…

[Book Review] Stranger On The Shore By Josh Lanyon & Starbucks Gold Coast Blend
Stranger On The Shore is first and foremost a mystery, but the romance unfolding within feels anything but secondary, instead both aspects blend seamlessly together in this intriguing and compelling read.
