[Book Review] Bitter Bite By Jennifer Estep & KMO Joe Icicle Delight Flavored Coffee
Bitter Bite, book 14 in the Elemental Assassin series, sees dual magic wielding, underworld queen, and all around badass assassin Gin Blanco dealing with some good, old-fashioned family drama – of course, it's slightly more menacing and potentially deadly family drama than most people have to deal with (understatement).

[Novella Review] The Entity Who Came For Christmas By Cat Devon & Jackie’s Java Yule Nog
I love holiday books, and I especially love unusual holiday books. The Entity Who Came For Christmas has witches celebrating the Winter Solstice and gallivanting through snowy Chicago with vampire Demon Hunters over the Christmas holiday – can’t get much more unusual than that.

[Book Review] Led Astray: The Best Of Kelley Armstrong By Kelley Armstrong & Ghost Town Coffee Roaster Stonehouse Espresso
Kelley Armstrong is a master storyteller, a fact made abundantly clear in this “best of” collection. There are 23 stories featured in this book, 21 previously published and 2 brand new, never before seen tales. Fans of Kelley Armstrong will recognize some familiar characters and settings, and some new, from the author’s Otherworld, Cainsville, Darkest Powers/Darkness Rising, and Age of Legends series. The only series I have read is the Darkest Powers (and that was years ago), but I was able to enjoy every story in this collection, so no worries for readers who are unfamiliar with any or all of these series.

[Book Review] Spider’s Trap By Jennifer Estep & Rose Park Roasters Ethiopian Beriti
Elemental Assassin Gin Blanco, known as the Spider, has made quite the reputation for herself wielding her dual Ice and Stone magic to take out some of the biggest heavy hitters of Ashland’s criminal underworld – and in doing so has kind of lucked into the position of the de facto queen of the underworld herself. In Spider’s Trap, the 13th book of the Elemental Assassin series, Gin finds herself in the very weird position of having people she used to be gunning for coming to her to talk about business deals, treaties, and territory disputes. Gin’s first big meeting to mediate a dispute between some underworld bosses ends explosively…
