In celebration of Saint Patrick’s Day, Dunkin’ has once again brought back their Irish Creme flavor coffee. Described as sweet and creamy, the flavor is available in all their hot, iced, and frozen coffee varieties (including espresso-based drinks) and will be around for a limited time at participating locations, until supplies run out.
Koios Beverage Company, a company that uses natural ingredients as supplements to make “functional beverage products”, recently announced their development of two new varieties of specialty coffees they plan to add to their line. The first blend, called the Creativity Blend, is enhanced using two kinds of mushrooms known to improve brain and adrenal function. The second blend, the Beauty Blend, contains collagen to improve skin appearance. No exact date has been given for when the products will be available for purchase.
Starting today, MyPanera members can sign-up for Panera’s new unlimited coffee subscription plan. For $8.99 a month, subscribers get “one cup of drip hot coffee, hot tea, or iced coffee every two hours during regular bakery-cafe hours, including free refills of the same beverage at participating U.S. Panera Bread bakery-cafes”.
Over at Kickstarter, I Am Grounded, a company out of Brisbane, Australia, has launched a campaign for the production of Coffee Fruit Bars – superfruit bars made using the discarded coffee cherry waste that is produced during coffee harvesting. The bars come in three flavors (1. espresso, tahini, & coffee fruit, 2. lemon, coconut, & coffee fruit, & 3. cocoa, almond butter, & coffee fruit) and are packaged using home-compostable material.
