Happy Monday! Here’s a few interesting coffee news stories to perk you up: Caribou Coffee partners with Make-A-Wish, coffee-flavored peeps, and an activewear company that uses recycled coffee beans and plastics collected from the ocean to make sustainable fabric.

Caribou Coffee Make A Wish BlendCaribou Coffee has partnered with the Make-A-Wish foundation for their Wish Blend, a new limited-edition light roast. For every bag of Wish Blend sold between January 1st to December 31st , Caribous Coffee will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish foundation to aid them in their mission to “to grant life-changing wishes for children battling life-threatening medical conditions”. Caribou Coffee Wish Blend is available exclusively through Target (both in stores and online) for $8.99.

Peeps, those absolute mad geniuses of churning out new flavors to keep us coming back, have done it again – this time partnering with The Original Donut Shop to bring us PEEPS The Original Donut Shop Coffee Flavored Marshmallow Chicks and PEEPS Filled Delights The Original Donut Shop Coffee Caramel Mocha Flavored Marshmallow Chicks (the “Filled Delights” are apparently “chicks dipped in decadent chocolate and filled with creamy caramel”). *drool emoji*

COCO MOKA, a sportwear company that focuses on making sustainable, eco-friendly activewear for sensitive skin using quality fabrics made from recycled coffee beans and plastics collected from the ocean, launched a Kickstarter campaign that’s worth a look. The fabric made from the unique blend off coffee grounds and recycled ocean plastics is supposed to dry 200% faster than cotton, absorb odor, and reflect UV rays.
