Happy Monday! Some interesting coffee news for your Monday: The Original Donut Shop Coffee has a new Snickers flavor, Death Wish Coffee released an espresso roast not for the weak of heart, and a new startup delivers customized ready-to-drink coffee & more. Over at Kickstarter, PODMKR introduces a machine that grinds fresh coffee beans into reusable coffee pods.

The Original Donut Shop Coffee is collaborating with Mars for their new Snickers candy bar flavored coffee, made to “inspire moments of happiness every morning for consumers in a way only Snickers can deliver on”. A light roast with the “creamy milk chocolate, gooey caramel, and just a touch of nuttiness” flavors of the classic candy, the coffee is available at retailers, Amazon, and Keurig.com.

Death Wish Coffee, The World’s Strongest Coffee®, now got even darker with the release of Death Wish Coffee Espresso Roast. Touted as their “darkest coffee yet”, the espresso is described as bold, rich, smooth, and intense, with notes of caramelized sugar, cocoa, and black cherry. The coffee can be found at Walmart, Kroger, and on their website at  DeathWishCoffee.com.

Frazy, a startup located in California, is launching what they call “the World’s First Virtual Cafe, Boba Shop & Bar.” Customers can visit their website ( getfrazy ), and choose their customized drink orders for boba, coffee, tea, or mocktails from a list of 100s of possible combinations. The beverages are then made by real beverage artists, frozen, and shipped to the customer in ready-to-drink cups. The company is currently offering free shipping on orders over $20.

PODMKR launched a Kickstarter campaign for their coffee grinder which allows coffee lovers to grind their favorite coffee beans into reusable coffee pods for use in single-serve machines. The PODMKR is projected to retail for $159 and come with 3 reusable pods of choice (Keurig, Keurig Supreme Plus, Nespresso, Nespresso Vertuo). See their campaign video below for more details:
